Multiplexed HTTP streams over one binary WebSocket
Each envelope carries connector identity, connection epoch, stream ID, sequence, type, metadata length, and binary payload length.
Handshake and liveness
HELLO and WELCOME negotiate the protocol and epoch. HEARTBEAT and HEARTBEAT_ACK update connector presence.
Stream lifecycle
OPEN_STREAM is followed by request headers and bounded body chunks. Response headers and chunks stream back independently for each stream ID.
Failure semantics
STREAM_REJECTED denies policy or target failures before proxying. STREAM_RESET cancels an active stream. SESSION_REVOKED terminates matching work.
